ABOUT US
Mission Possible is a foundation dedicated to strengthening the foundations of future security – water security, energy security, social resilience, and demographic sustainability.
Our roots lie in the work of the RT-ON Foundation, a civic movement that opposed the development of new lignite open-pit mines and advocated for Poland’s transition from a fossil-fuel-based energy system to one powered by renewable energy.
Today, we have expanded that mission. We view security not only through the lens of energy and natural resources, but also through water, demographic change, the resilience of local communities, and the quality of public decision-making. We bring together expert knowledge, civic engagement, and close cooperation with the people and communities most affected by climate, energy, and social transformations.
We are called Mission Possible because we believe that responsible change is possible. It requires courage, evidence-based decision-making, collaboration, and an honest conversation about both costs and benefits.
Our vision is of a country that thinks long term, safeguards shared resources, and empowers people where they live. By strengthening communities today, we help build a safer, more resilient future for generations to come.
